“ Sit down in a casual environment with very nice people. The meal consisting of pulled pork and beef brisket-delicious. The sides of Mac-in-cheese, smoked baked beans, and hush puppies. Everything had a very good taste. The staff were nice and attentive. We picked up banana pudding and tropical cake for dessert. We had a nice meal and will be back. ”
“ This is my first time here as I was passing through on thanksgiving weekend. When I was looking up restaurants near by to eat “Bluegrass BBQ” was top on my suggestions. I’m truly glad I got the opportunity to eat here! This place is phenomenal everything was up to par! For an appetizer we ordered the fried pickles and for being a smaller size the golden brown sauce was delicious. I ordered the combination B on the menu and I received the catfish which was extra crispy and the ribs. The ribs were just right and I mixed 2 of their sauces when I ate my ribs. With that combination I got 3 sides and I got the mac & cheese, sweet potato casserole, and the pepper slaw. The pepper slaw I didn’t not care for. However, the sweet potato casserole was great. The Mac and cheese was great nothing out of this world, but good. I did take a bite of my family members fried pork chop and man I wish I ordered that! Also, my family member ordered the smoked chicken and he loved it. I would definitely come back here if I was ever in the area. “ We had lunch at Bluegrass BBQ after hiking with our dog and little girl. They have dog-friendly outdoor seating. Barbecue was delicious, really good even without sauce, but they have a selection of different sauces. Our server was extremely nice to all of us, especially the dog. She brought him some water and even a little barbecue pork - he agreed it was fantastic. It is very close to the entrance to Cascades Falls so we will definitely be back again. ”
“ The barbecue is literally the best I’ve ever had. However, it’s not just the barbecue all of their sides are homemade and fantastic as well. Next time we are in Giles County, we plan to skip lunch to have extra room for dinner here! ”

Our daughter really enjoyed the catfish kids meal and our boys shared a cheeseburger. We really enjoyed the pulled pork nachos and collard greens. “ Our first time eating here my family pulled in at 6:30 on a Sunday evening, the family coming out had a little boy about four years old and he said (that was delicious) so I knew it was going to be good. The place was closing at 7 so we told the ladies we would go and come back another day. They both said absolutely not if you are hungry we will feed you!!! I got the barbecue nachos my husband got a pulled pork sandwich and my son got a cheeseburger. This had to be the most barbecue nachos I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had them in a lot of different places. Great food nice prices and a very friendly staff!!!!! ”
